Update 0.1 Is Ready!!!


Hello to all Bug Biters, all you Swarm Stompers, you Crawler Killers!  The games first official update is here! After a few months of work I've added some new enemies, tried to fix a few things and worked with a few features! I will continue to work on this game as I learn more and more about everything game making related. My next focus will be between animation and environment so expect new levels soon as well!

New Additions:

-New Enemy: Fight the slow but troubling plague beetle! This bulking bug will walk across the map and spew clouds of toxin that will slow the player down! And once they die they will erupt in a larger cloud of toxin that will also slow the player down

-New Weapons: If the bugs can fight toxic so can you, with the addition of the Gas Gun! This toxin shooting weapon will launch clouds of smoke that will not only slow enemies, but poison them over time as well! Additionally you can blast enemies with the new shotgun blaster!

-New Boost:  Now you can also pick up a speed boost from fallen enemies! Allowing for a speedy getaway from overwhelming odds!

Reworks:

-New BANG for your Pulse!  The pulse rifle is no longer just a heavier slower version of the rifle, now it works as an actual explosion! It will push enemies back and deal damage to enemies too close together. 

-To compensate for the ever rising odds against you the player's base speed has been updated to give you a fighting chance. 

-The boss has been given their own song  now! I will work on the transition soon. 


Other Patches:

-Enemy has been worked slightly to help them not get stuck as often, there's still some work to be done but this is the groundwork to help them sort out better pathfinding tactics. 

-The ranged enemy now has an idle animation for when they're standing still. 

-There's a "Next Wave" screen now, so you know that you finished a wave and worked.
